ICC Concert 2011

Hiiiii guys!

So the ICC Concert 2011 commenced yesterday, and for those of you who weren't able to make it, you sure missed one hell of a show! From the performances, to the guest artists, to the awesome (and attractive) hosts, ICC Concert this year was definitely a concert not to be missed!

Masters of Ceremony!

Every year, we have some of the best media personalities hosting ICC Concert, and in case you were wondering who would be hosting this year's ICC Concert, it's none other than Red FM's DJ, Jeremy Teo and 8TV Quickie's host, Megan Tan!

Here's a little bit more about our 2 hosts this year:

MEGAN TAN

At present, Megan Tan Yue Mei, 22, or more comfortably known as Megan, has completed a to-do list where she competed in a beauty pageant (Miss Malaysia Pageant 2009), hosted her first television programme when she was 11 years old and recently won the 8TV Quickie host search. Before this, Tan had also been featured in television commercials, where some are highlights in her portfolio as they were aired internationally.

JEREMY TEO

Jeremy on the left, with Jien, hosting the Cheer Competition 2010 held in Bukit Jalil.

The Red FM radio presenter, who has five years of on air experience, learnt early in his career that the spotlight is never on the radio deejay. Instead, it is all about you and me -- the listeners.
Teo didn't start with the commercial radio station. His humble beginnings were with RTM. Fresh from a one-year study trip to Australia, where he graduated with a degree in psychology from the University of South Australia, Teo came back to Malaysia and saw an advertisement by RTM for reality show competition for radio DJs. Coming in second place, and offered a job at RTM, Jeremy went on to DJ at Traxx FM for 2 and a half years, until offered a job at Red FM where he hosts a show with Rudy called "The All New Red FM Breakfast Show".

ICCPJ Probie Seminar & ICC Concert Second Audition

First and foremost, we would like to thank all of the Interactors and Probationers who came out to SMK Assunta today for the Probationers' Seminar.

Narmi

Narmi (who you might know as Imran, the drummer for One Buck Short) is Imran's singer-songwriter solo project. Narmi has been playing in various gigs around KL for awhile now. Narmi's music is soulful and full of heart. Though he is not classically trained in guitar, his grasp for catchy melodies and his unique voice has enabled him to gain a steady following in the singer-songwriter circuit. Currently his single, “Whirl” is on rotation on Xfm and Hitz and was no. 1 on the MET10 for about two weeks. Narmi was also invited to be a guest in Hitz Radar on Hitz TV and The Breakfast show on Ntv7. Narmi will be coming up with his first EP in April.
As you can guess by now, Narmi will be performing during ICC Concert 2011!

Here is his new single, Whirl.
Personally, if you're a fan of AJ Rafael or Jason Mraz even, you'll definitely like this song!

FINAL AUDITION FOR ICC CONCERT 2011

As mentioned in a previous post, there will be a final audition for the performers taking part in the dancing and singing competition during ICC Concert 2011 on the 12th of March 2011.
The order of groups/individuals auditioning are as follows:

And for those taking part in the modern dance and cultural dance categories, you are required to perform your full routine during the audition. Your costumes, etc. are not required during the audition.

28 days to ICC Concert 2011, Spectrum: Colouring Outside The Lines!

We bring you good news, and great news this week.

The good news is that tickets for the upcoming ICC Concert 2011 have been printed and are being sold as we speak. Do not hesitate to purchase your ICC Concert tickets from any Interactor from the 6 ICCPJ schools! Interactors of the 6 ICCPJ schools may get your tickets from your respective Presidents.

The great news is that the performers who are competing under the modern dance, cultural dance and singing categories stand a chance to win a grand total of RM 1500! 
Time is ticking, so make sure you guys have what it takes to wow the audience & especially the judges because you wouldn't want to miss out on winning the grand prize!

Ladies & Gentlemen, the FINAL Auditions are comin' up!

ATTENTION to all those shortlisted for the final auditions! The final auditions will be held soon. Details are as followed:-

Registration starts at 9.00am, so don't be late! Please take note that any new members of your group MUST be registered latest on the day itself. Starting 13 March, no new members will be allowed to register. The list of performers will be FINAL. So if you need registration forms, kindly approach your respective Interact Club presidents now!

Auditions results!

Hey guys! First off, thanks for trying out for the ICCPJ Charity Concert 2011 today. I'm sure it was a hectic day for everyone but oh well, we still had loads of fun :D

Sooo these are the results that everyone has been waiting for. Just so you know, these aren't the final results. There will be a short listing around early March. Don't worry about it, we'll keep you informed through the blog. So to those who have made this round, congrats! And keep practicing 'cause this ain't the end yet hahaha. As for those of you who didn't make the cut, you guys still did an awesome job and there's always next year :)
